I have changed greatly with age. Large gatherings are totally not my thing anymore. I was a crowd person as a teenager and slowly but surely I now will pay for peace and quiet over noise and celebration...unless it is Drump going to jail. That I might join in a celebration.
Oh for the days of fireworks and large gatherings.
