Geology

 This is east of San Diego

Jamrud Fort at the entrance to the Khyber Pass from the Pakistan side on the road to Kabul. Circa 1965.

 Built in 1836 to protect against Afghanistan's invasions. The current war is just a continuation of past centuries.
