You Never Know......

That's right, you never know what will show up in the harbor. The Sea Bird. Built as the U.S. Army U.S. Army Freight and Supply Ship FS-289 at Wheeler Shipbuilding, Whitestone New York in 1944. Acquired and converted to a Camano-class cargo ship by the US Navy on 1 July 1950 and was placed in service as USNS New Bedford (AKL-17).

Who said the Army can't have their own ships?
