Rain Test
A few years ago the condo association paid a company to smear on slurry
on the asphalt. They over-smeared in front of our garage door and made
the outside almost two inches higher than the concrete garage floor. We
got wet. Last week a new company came along replaced the asphalt.
Tonight we are supposed to get one inch of rain. The outside appears
lower or at least level with the inside. May the force be with us.

Now look at that. They didn't take the bad stuff out to the wall, and it is a fraction higher than our garage floor. Grrrrrrrrrr.......

ReplyDeleteGood thing that you are getting rain because this may have remained hidden for a year or two and when you were on travel. Water is a nasty and engineers should know that.
